The National Statistics Office (NSO) is doing its share in the efforts to help the families of the victims of the recent sea mishap off Sibuyan Island in Romblon at the height of storm caused by typhoon Frank.

In Cebu, officers and staff of NSO-Regional and Provincial Offices form part of the Action Center located at the Abellana Grounds, Cebu City Sports Complex. Civil registry documents (birth and marriage certificates) are being issued free of charge for those have referrals from the City Social Welfare Officer and/or the Public Attorney’s Office (PAO).

At the National Capital Region, relatives of victims of M/V Princess of the Stars, who have the necessary referrals from PAO shall likewise be issued copies of relevant civil registry documents at no cost. NSO Help Desk in Metro Manila is located at the Office of the Director, Civil Registration Department, 3/F Vibal Building, EDSA corner Times Street, Quezon City.
